Brian T. Chebon was brought up in Kampi ya Samaki (Baringo county, Rift Valley Kenya). He is PhD student at the University of Eldoret, Kenya, in the program of Aquatic Science. He holds MSc. in Aquatic Science and BSc. in Zoology (University of Eldoret). He is an Environmental Impact Assessment / Environmental Audit (EIA/EA) Lead Expert and a registered professional member of Environment Institute of Kenya (EIK); the Aquacultural Association of Kenya (AAK) and the Entomological Society of Kenya (ESK). His research interests are in Aquatic ecology; Application of Aquatic biota in Environmental monitoring; Fish health management and Biosecurity (in Fisheries and Aquaculture sectors). Currently, his PhD research is on ‘Ecological Health Assessment of river Molo using algae, macroinvertebrates and fish as bioindicators, in the Rift Valley, Kenya’.
