Luiza Mercy Achieng Obor holds a Diploma in Wildlife Management from Kenya Wildlife Service Training Institute, Kenya. Her Diploma research project focused on the “Impact of wetland degradation on Avifaunal survival: A case of Dunga Swamp, Lake Victoria”. She also holds a BSc in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences from University of Eldoret. Her undergraduate research project focused on the “Length weight relationship, condition factor and food of Barbus paludinosis in Chepkanga Dam, Kenya”. She is currently enrolled as a MSc student in the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Science (Aquatic Science Option). Her study focuses on the “Assessment of the ecological suitability (physico-chemical and microbial load) of water pans for human and livestock consumption.
