Ph.D. in Aquaculture Management – Integrated Aquaculture (plants and biofloc)
Kenneth Rono grew up in the rural semi-arid area part of Narok County. He completed BSc and MSc degrees in Fisheries and Aquatic Science at the University of Eldoret (UoE) and is currently enrolled for a PhD degree at the same university. His research interests lie in investigating insects, fungi, and bacteria as emerging aquaculture technology that can unlock alternative protein sources for fish and livestock. He is currently working at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology as a Researcher.
