Sharon Indasi Lubembe holds an MSc in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences from the Official University of Bukavu. Her master’s thesis investigated the effects of fish cage farming on physical and chemical parameters, as well as macroinvertebrate communities in Lake Kivu, DRC. For her BSc, she studied the food and feeding habits of the mountain catfish, Amphilius jacksonii, in River Chepkoilel, Kenya. Sharon’s research interests include ecosystem management and the impact of climate change on aquatic biodiversity. She is skilled in statistical analysis and field sampling techniques.
